Lieber's Luggage was founded in 1906 by Max Lieber — a name that carried real weight in the travel goods industry long before most of today's luggage brands existed. In 1978, Frank and Leslee Fine relocated the business to Albuquerque, New Mexico, planting roots in a city that's been home to us ever since.

Today, Lieber's is owned and operated by Dustin and Felicia Boyd. Dustin's story with the shop is the kind you don't hear much anymore — he started as a sales associate, worked his way up to manager, and eventually became the owner. He didn't inherit the business. He earned it, one customer at a time.

You'll find us at 6515 Menaul Blvd NE, right across from Coronado Center at the Georgia Street stop light. Walk in and you'll find a staff that actually knows what they're talking about — people who travel, who test gear, and who will tell you straight which bag is right for your trip.

The next chapter of our story is the Luggage Lab — our in-house product development operation, built right inside the store. It's where we hand-assemble the Legacy Collection, our proprietary line of hardside spinners made in Albuquerque. The Legacy 21" Carry-On, the Legacy 28", and the Legacy 31" are all built here — USA assembled, free monogram included, and backed by the same standard of quality we've held since 1906.
