We have always known that the way we do things here in Albuquerque is a little bit different. When we decided to start assembling our own luggage right here in the USA, we didn't do it for the accolades — we did it because we believe travelers deserve better than disposable bags.

But it turns out, the rest of the industry has been watching. 👀

We recently received some incredible news from a major national review of independent travel retailers across the country. Let's just say that the hard work happening inside The Luggage Lab isn't a local secret anymore. From our century-old heritage to our unique, in-house manufacturing process, what we are building right here in New Mexico just got recognized on a massive scale.

We are incredibly humbled and more motivated than ever. We are keeping the exact details under wraps for just a little while longer while we celebrate with the team — but we want to take a moment to thank you — our amazing customers — for supporting our mission and believing in what we do.
