Return policy
Lieber’s Luggage is a small local family-owned and operated business. We unfortunately cannot compete with the return policies of big-box stores. Please understand that returns result in significant losses for our store, and not all items can be returned or refunded unless otherwise specified. The following are a few examples of why we’ve had to implement our return policy:
- Some customers have used products for trips and brought them back after they were no longer needed. Such makes it so that we are unable to resell the item at its original value, resulting in significant losses for our store.
- When a customer requests a return without bringing in the original receipt, or did not provide us with their name during the original transaction to be able to later track the original purchase, we are unable to see what the customer actually paid for the item, making it incredibly difficult or virtually impossible to ensure they are refunded the correct amount. This is particularly problematic if the item was purchased on sale, was otherwise discounted, or if the cost of the item has since changed. It is thus imperative you retain your receipt should you want to request a return.
- If a customer attempts to return a product after 15 days, we are often unable to resell it at its original value which results in losses for our store.
- We have had to halt processing returns on hair appliances, adapter plugs, and other electronics, as many customers were using the products and returning them after their trips. Such results in significant losses for our store.
We have thus implemented the following return policy to provide customer satisfaction within reason, while helping to ensure we continue to stay in business.
We have a 15 day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your online item to request a return, or if purchased in-store, 15 days after purchasing the item to request a return.
To be eligible to request a return, your item MUST be in the same condition you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the original receipt or other valid proof of purchase. Please note that without a copy of the original receipt, we may not be able to track down your purchase to properly process a return and it is thus imperative for you to provide us with an original copy of the receipt should you wish to request a return. We reserve the right to refuse any return request absent a copy of the original receipt being brought in by the customer.
Please note that some items, such as electronics and adapter plugs, are not returnable, and any applicable warranties must be processed with manufacturer.
If an item is purportedly defective, you can contact us to request an exchange or store credit.

For online orders:
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, if applicable, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that all returns will need to be sent or brought in to the following address: 6515 Menaul Blvd NE Albuquerque New Mexico 87110.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and try to make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned or refunded, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, final sales, or gift cards.
Monogrammed or used merchandise are also non-returnable.
No returns, exchanges, or store credit on hair dryers, hair straighteners, curling irons/rollers, clothes irons, steamers, coffee makers, immersion heaters, adapter plugs, or voltage converters. Any and all applicable warranties pertaining to such products will need to submitted by the customer to the manufacturer.
Refunds
Subject to the restrictions stated herein, we will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded in the form of your original payment method usually within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at manager@liebers.com. All applicable shipping fees paid by Liebers are deducted from the return amount, including items that were eligible for free shipping.
