The Castilleja (or Indian Paintbrush) pouch features the illustration of Albuquerque artist Jen Fox.  "I have early memories of hiking in the mountains in Washington state with my mom. I always remembered her favorite wildflower being the Indian Paintbrush. I was enchanted by the idea that the earth grew its own paintbrushes! My imagination went wild with the thought of paintbrushes pushing up through the earth all over the mountainside." -- Jen Fox Now, living in New Mexico, this plant is common in the mountainous areas. And it always evokes fond memories.

The Sandhill Crane pouch- The loud, rolling, trumpeting sound of the sandhill crane is unmistakable in the late fall in New Mexico, one of the areas where the cranes overwinter. These seasonal guests make their way to the marshes and waterways here, where their flocks can number into the tens of thousands. It's a glorious sight & sound! 

The Yucca pouch- The Yucca Flower pouch features the illustration of Albuquerque artist Jen Fox.  The yucca flower was designated the state flower of New Mexico in 1927 - this illustration is a representation of the rugged evergreen spiky leaves and the soft lantern-like, fragrant flowers.  Artist Jen Fox was inspired by the silhouettes of the yucca plants during full moon at White Sands National Park.

Product Care: Hand wash with a pea sized amount of laundry detergent, tug back into shape while pouch is still damp, and lay flat to dry. Use a hot iron and steam to press.
